September

• 25^th: Girls Pizza PJ Night- 3^rd-6^th grade girls are invited to a PJ Pizza Party from 5:30pm-8:30pm. We will have pizza, treats, and watch the movie One Night With the King (a movie about Esther). It will be at my house at 609 De La Vina Apt #23 Santa Barbra, CA, 93101

• 29^th: Parent Education Seminar- At 6:30pm there will be a talk by Dr. Lee Pennington Neill, an educational therapist, on “improving your student’s confidence in their own learning style.”

October

• 17^th: Walk for Water: A church wide fundraiser event perfect for families. This event will be from 1pm-4pm, and the cost is $35 for adults, $10 for a child, and $70 for a family.  

• 30^th: Pumpkin, Prayer, Pizza Night- One of the most exciting events of the year. We will have pizza, pumpkins carving, and a devotional. Come with the whole family. Please bring your own pumpkin.

November

• 11^th: Community Thanksgiving Service – Thanksgiving service in the sanctuary from 7-8pm. Please bring canned food to donate to the homeless.

• 22^nd: Thanksgiving Cookie Making- We will make thanksgiving cookies and then give them to the Rescue Mission for their thanksgiving feast for the homeless (after sampling a few, of course).

• 29^th: Advent Wreath Sunday- During Sunday School children will be making advent wreaths.

December

• 6^th: Advent Parish Night- You do not want to miss this event. Starting at 5:30pm there will be a potluck, ornament making and a Christmas performance.

January

• 29th Boy's Night- Organized by Chris Hartman, details to follow.

February

• 14^th: Valentine Chocolate Making- During the first service Sunday School, the children will be making Valentine’s day cards for the women in the one year residential program at the Rescue Mission. Then during second service the “SENSE-ational bible travelers” and anyone who would like to join will be making valentine's chocolate for the women. But don't worry we will be sampling some of the chocolate before we give it all away.If you would like to come join us come to the litchen at 10:30 am.

• 26^th: Family Game Night – Come hang out with other families in the youth room  eat pizza and play foosball, air-hockey, ping-pong, and other games such as twister, jenga and bible trivia. We will be meeting in the youth room at 5pm.

March  

• 21^st: Palm Sunday Cross Making – On Sunday morning we will decorate wooden crosses in such a way that tells the story of Palm Sunday.

• 26^th: Easter Egg Decorating- A family event in which we will dye Easter eggs.

April

• 4^th: Easter Egg Hunt – Sunday morning there will be an Easter egg hunt along with other Easter festivities.

Late May or Early June

• Teacher Appreciation & Graduation Party – A time to celebrate the Teachers and the children.
